The National Council of Yes, Bulgaria decided that its MPs will not participate in forming and supporting the Government within the new 50th National Assembly, the party's press centre said on Friday.

The Yes, Bulgaria party is part of the Democratic Bulgaria (DB) coalition. DB took part in the June 9 elections as a part of the Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria coalition.

Yes, Bulgaria leader Hristo Ivanov said on Monday that he is stepping down as party chair and will not be part of the 50th National Assembly. One of the reasons is the poor communication with the voters that led to the poor results of the vote.
