The finalists in the 24th edition of the CodeIT programming competition will attend an award ceremony here on Monday at 3 p.m., the software company Musala Soft, which organizes the event, said.

The final was held with the support of academic institutions, embassies, sponsors and under the auspices of President Rumen Radev, who will also attend the ceremony.

CodeIT was established by Musala Soft in 2000 as a national competition. Since 2007, the competition has been held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria. Since the 2013-2014 season, the competition has been international. Problems were introduced that were appropriate for children as young as 8th grade.

More than 2,300 competitors from over 20 countries have participated in CodeIT so far, including China, Serbia, North Macedonia, Switzerland, Iran, India and Sweden.
