VRMO leader Krasimir Karakachanov, who is also the party’s leading candidate in Blagoevgrad and Pleven, wrote on Facebook on Sunday that what serves the Bulgarian interest is not a war between Russia, the European Union, and NATO, but peace, cooperation, and economic prosperity.

“War is the worst evil that can happen to us, and our involvement in it would be fatal. It is the ruling ultra-liberal European ‘elite’ that is pushing us toward a war,” Karakachanov wrote. He noted that Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban is one of the few who calls a spade a spade and is being “satanized” for it. “The policy he is pursuing is towards a transatlantic peace coalition headed by European patriots and conservatives and Donald Trump as president,” the VMRO leader further wrote.

“The war is what the ultraliberal globalists who have set out to create a new world order are interested in. It is dominated by gender ideology and the destruction of Christian, family, and national values,” Karakachanov said.

“Orban stopped the ultraliberals in Hungary. Trump will stop them in the US. We must stop them in Bulgaria and Europe,” he added.

“Bulgaria and Hungary have many things in common, both in historical and contemporary terms. What distinguishes us today is that Bulgaria has ultraliberal governments in power, which are run by the embassy and serve everything but the Bulgarian national interest. They are so blinded by their ideology that they refuse to see the truth for what it is,” Karakachanov noted.
