Continue the Change (CC) Co-Chairs Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev, and Democratic Bulgaria (DB) Co-Chair Hristo Ivanov held a meeting with supporters in Sofia on Wednesday.

"We seek a mandate from the people to become the first political force. A second government collapsed because we did not sell our values," Petkov said, adding that CC-DB are against the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and GERB-UDF to govern with GERB leader Boyko Borissov as a prime minister. "[MRF leader Delyan] Peevski holds the permanent power and [Boyko] Borissov holds the votes. This is the deal. The only way to break it is for those 80 percent of the people who want change and growth to come out and vote," Petkov stressed.

Ivanov pointed out that those who do not cast their votes, automatically give the power to Peevski. Ivanov pointed out that this was the dirtiest election campaign in the history of Bulgarian democracy. Borisov and Peevski want to take power, he warned.
