At a press conference of the Civic Bloc coalition in the National Press Club of BTA on the occasion of the upcoming elections on June 9, former prosecutor general Ivan Geshev expressed his readiness to hold a debate with Boyko Borissov, who will be the leader of the GERB-UDF list in the same constituency. “I will gladly debate with him about the future of Bulgaria and its past, and I am sure he will come to a debate with me because he is not a coward,” Geshev said.
Geshev noted that he will lead the coalition's list in the 25th multi-member constituency - Sofia.
He noted that one of the coalition's ideas is to have a Ministry of Demography, which is a serious problem for Bulgaria. In his words, the main problem of European politics is that there are no leaders.
Nikola Iliev, who will be the leader of the coalition's list in the 24th constituency - Sofia, said that Europe is killing itself economically and demographically, and Bulgaria should take the right measures in time. “Bulgaria is broken, but it can be fixed and healed, it is not dead,” Iliev said.
