site.btaYellow Code Issued in Several Regions for Possible Heavy Rain on Saturday

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow warning code for significant precipitation on Saturday.

The warning is in effect for the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Kardzhali, Lovech, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Stara Zagora and Haskovo. 

The yellow code is issued when local floods are possible, although not significant in number. Disruption of outdoor activities may be necessary. There may be driving difficulties due to reduced visibility and aquaplaning, according to the NIMH website. 

No warning codes have been issued for Sunday, May 5, when the weather is expected to be mostly sunny.
