Commenting a memorandum on the government priorities proposed by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria Tuesday, Movement for Rights and Freedoms floor leader Delyan Peevski said that his party is not going to be part of "any share-out deals". "I see someone wanting to split the country in a very exotic way. We have seen that colleagues [in CC-DB] are eager to take control of the regulators. It is absurd to me to put out a memorandum out of a desire to divide the judiciary, anti-corruption agencies, the judiciary. This is unheard of!" Peevski said.

He also said: "We had this conversation with the colleagues [of CC-DB] before that and I thought they were joking about wanting to split up the judiciary and regaining control of the [security] services. Now we see it all in the memorandum. There is nothing in it for the people."

He said it is a decision for GERB to make. "GERB should make up their minds, we have said we are not involved, there is nothing in this for the people, there is only division of offices, division of prosecution, division of court, division of anti-corruption agency."

Peevski added that his party will oppose the proposed memorandum. "According to the Constitution, there is a blocking quota of 160 votes".

Formally, MRF are not part of the government coalition but have been backing the government in Parliament.
