Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg on Friday discussed the obstacles to the lifting of land Schengen borders, the government information services aid. The two conferred on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

The Prime Minister and Vienna's top diplomat discussed the need to resume talks between Bulgaria, Romania and Austria in order to overcome all obstacles to full Schengen membership.

Within the framework of their participation in the forum, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Denkov also held talks with US Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Robert Silvers.
