site.btaBoris Gerasimov Appointed Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications

By order of the Prime Minister, Eng. Boris Gerasimov is appointed Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, the press centre of the Council of Ministers announced on Wednesday.

Gerasimov holds a master's degree in electronics and automation from the Technical University of Sofia. In the period 2018 - 2022, he was director of the Information and Communication Technologies Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Science. Prior to that, he headed the Information and Communication Technologies at the National Vocational School of Precision Engineering and Optics "M. В. Lomonosov" - Sofia. Gerasimov has a long career as a teacher and lecturer in the field of computer networks and architectures, and as an expert at the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training.

Another order of the Prime Minister dismissed Grigory Grigorov from the post of Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications.
