The mountain hiking conditions are poor, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA Thursday. The weather is cloudy and foggy, with moderate wind and rain showers. Snow is falling in the higher parts of the mountains.

Lift facilities in mountain resorts are working.

No incidents involving tourists were reporded over the past day.

It will be mostly cloudy and windy over the mountains, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology's weather forecast. It will snow. Rain below an altitude of 1700 metres. Moderate to strong westerly-southwesterly winds. Highs: around 7C at 1,200 metres and around 4C at 2,000 metres above sea level.
