Students’ Diplomatic Club Marks Its 29th Anniversary

The Students’ Diplomatic Club marked its 29th anniversary with an event at the Aula of the St Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia on Tuesday.

Among the official guests were Sofia University Rector Prof. Georgi Valchev, Deputy National Assembly Chair Kristian Vigenin, Tourism Minister Zaritsa Dinkova, acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov, and the ambassadors of the US, Austria, Italy, Hungary and Croatia. Attending were also lecturers, experts in international relations and students.

Valchev congratulated the Students’ Diplomatic Club on its anniversary on behalf of the academic community. He noted that the Club is one of the oldest active students’ organizations at Sofia University and, over the years, has organized a number of professional development initiatives for generations of young people.

Official guests from the legislative, executive and judicial branches and representatives of the diplomatic corps also congratulated the Students’ Diplomatic Club.
