Vazrazhdane nominates Tsveta Rangelova on the basis of Section I, items 1 and 2 of the Rules of Procedure for the nomination of candidates, the submission and public disclosure of documents, the hearing of candidates and the election of judges to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria from the quota of the National Assembly adopted by the 49th National Assembly, the party's press centre reported on Thursday.

Rangelova is one of the most active lawmakers in the National Assembly in terms of bills introduced and defended. Vazrazhdane believes that Rangelova's moral and professional qualities, combined with a good knowledge of national and European legislation, are important for the work of the Constitutional Court.

Rangelova was born in Vidin, on the Danube, on October 22, 1976. She moved to Blagoevgrad, Southwestern Bulgaria, where she completed her higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Law at South-West University Neofit Rilski.

Rangelova is part of the 48th and 49th National Assemblies. She was Vice-Chair of the Committee on Internal Security and Public Order and member of the Committee on Legal Affairs in the 48th National Assembly. She is still a member of those two committees.
