site.btaPresident Radev to Confer Order of Madara Horseman, First Class, on Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev will confer the Order of the Madara Horseman, First Class, on the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Faqeeh, on Thursday, the Head of State's press secretariat said. 

The diplomat will receive the state award for merits in the development and deepening of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia. The awarding ceremony will take place in the Coat of Arms Hall at the Presidency.

Ambassador Faqeeh and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel held a meeting on Tuesday. They stressed their will to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries and agreed on more joint initiatives in the fields of new technologies and innovation, agriculture, and tourism.
