January 2: The day will begin with cloudy skies and low rainfall. The cloud cover is expected to start decreasing before noon. Light to moderate westerly wind. Highs: 7C – 12C, 8C in Sofia.

Black Sea coast: Cloudy with low rainfall. The cloud cover will decrease in the afternoon, starting from the northern coast.  Light to moderate westerly wind, southwesterly in the evening. Highs: 9C – 12C. Sea water temperature: 9C – 10C. 

Mountains: Mostly cloudy with snowfall, below 1,200-1,300 m with rainfall. The cloud cover will decrease in the afternoon. Light to moderate westerly wind, strong in the high parts of the Rila and Pirin mountains. Highs: around 5C at 1,200 m and around 0C at 2,000 m.
