Rainfall to weaken in Northern Bulgaria, snow expected in Northwest Bulgaria and in mountain areas. Light to moderate northerly-northwesterly wind, moderate northerly-notheasterly wind in Eastern Bulgaria. Lows: minus 1C to minus 4C, around minus 1C in Sofia. Highs: 1C to 3C in Northern Bulgaria, 7C to 9C in Eastern Bulgaria, around 2C in Sofia. 

The coast: Cloudy and rainy, with moderate northeasterly wind which will turn to northwesterly later in the day. Highs: 8C to 10C – similar to the sea water temperature. Sea waves height: 2 to 3 degrees Douglas. 

The mountains: Cloudy with snow. Snow cover will be formed in West Bulgaria’s mountains. Moderate westerly-northwesterly wind. Highs: around 0C at 1,200 metres, around minus 3C at 2,000 metres. Temperatures expected to lower as the day goes by.
