The Council of Ministers adopted a decision on Bulgaria's accession to the Net-Zero Govemment Initiative - Leading by Example, which aims to mobilize the leadership of governments in climate action to accelerate the implementation of the Paris Agreement. By joining this initiative, the Bulgarian government has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from government operations no later than 2050 and to develop a Roadmap outlining actions to achieve this commitment.
