Chair of the parliamentary committee on internal security and public order Desislava Atanasova (GERB-UDF) convenes an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, November 22, at which the Minister of the Interior will be heard, according to the National Assembly's website.

In addition to the Interior Minister, the MPs will also hear from the Interior Ministry's secretary-general, his deputy, and the directors of National Police, Interior Ministry, Gendarmerie, Special Operations and Counter-Terrorism Directorate in connection with the security activity carried out at the protest against the BFU leadership held on November 16.

Earlier, Minister Kalin Stoyanov told a briefing he did not tolerate or accept any form of violence against peaceful citizens or police officers.
