site.btaPM Denkov Emphasizes Bulgaria's Support for Ukraine in Video Address at Third Ukrainian Peace Formula Meeting

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov emphasized Bulgaria's support for the people of Ukraine in a video address to the participants in the third meeting dedicated to the Ukrainian Peace Formula, held on 28 October in Malta, said the Council of Ministers on its official Facebook page on Sunday.

Denkov stressed the need to seek a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine and the region. “The aim of seeking a common understanding of the kind of global security architecture we are striving for was underlined,“ the government’s statement stated.

The meeting in Malta brought together 66 countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, represented at the level of security advisers, foreign policy advisers and political directors. 

This is the second time Bulgaria has participated in the format. Discussions highlighted this country's key role in securing export corridors from Ukraine, opportunities for support in the energy field, as well as in maintaining security in the Black Sea, according to the message on the Facebook page.
