Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel Thursday will confer with France's Minister of State for Europe Laurence Boone, who is paying a visit to Bulgaria, Gabriel' Ministry said in a press release. This is Boone's first visit to this country.

The talks will cover a wide range of matters of mutual interest and current topics on the international agenda, such as the war in Ukraine, Hamas' large-scale attacks on Israel, EU enlargement and the Republic of North Macedonia, Europe's future, Schengen enlargement, education and research.

The sides will give a joint news conference at 3:50 pm.

A delegation of 100 French companies arrived in Sofia on Wednesday and will stay in the country until October 13 in search of partners, the French Embassy said.
