Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov held on Wednesday a working meeting with Jari Liukku, head of the European Serious Organised Crime Centre (ESOCC) Department at Europol and Georgios Raskos, head of the agency's Organised Crime Unit.

The talks were also attended by Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner Zhivko Kotsev, the Director of the International Operational Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, Damyan Lechev, and Angel Kanev, Prosecutor at the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.

The discussion focused on the good operational cooperation between the Bulgarian law enforcement authorities and Europol in the context of the 20th anniversary of the cooperation of the national authorities with the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol).
