Council of Ministers Adopts Draft National Statistical Programme for 2023

The Council of Ministers adopted Thursday a report on the implementation of the National Statistical Programme and on the activities of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) in 2022, as well as the draft National Statistical Programme for 2023, the Council of Ministers’ press centre said. 

The main topics in the NSI report are:

Conducting a peer review within the European Statistical System 2021-2023 (third round of peer reviews);

Coordination of the activities of the Working Group on Exchange of Statistical Data and Economic Information of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.

Announcement of the results of the 18th Population and Housing Census in the Republic of Bulgaria in 2021.

The adopted report focuses on new research, methodologies and data published for the first time, such as the Gender-Based Violence Survey and the additional module on social inclusion and living conditions to the household budget survey.
