At the beginning of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov urged not to politicize the regional governor position, as it has no such functions. “There is no place for political statements in the activity of regional governors, unless a regional governor has political ambitions related to the upcoming local elections,” he said.
