Research funding has doubled since 2017. A total of 0.80% of GDP are allocated for science this year, which will hopefully happen through an upcoming project to be adopted by the National Assembly, Deputy caretaker Minister of Education and Science Prof. Albena Chavdarova said during a ceremony in recognition of the most successful scientific projects in 2022, organizing by the fund for scientific research, the Education Ministry said here on Wednesday.
