The caretaker Council of Ministers approved a draft Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement between the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the European Union and its member states. The agreement aims to gradually open up the market in terms of providing mutual access to routes and capacities, ensuring fair competition, non-discrimination, transparency and equal competitive conditions for economic operators, and improving connectivity, which will benefit consumers and economy.
