There were 4771 DUI cases in the January - July 2022 period, according to data posted in the Ministry of Interior's monthly bulletin. Some 2,702 were cases of drunk-driving with the drivers' level of intoxication being higher than 1.2 per mille. The remaining 2,069 cases were of driving while under the influence of drugs.
