At the Strezimirovtsi checkpoint on the Bulgarian–Serbian border, Serbian border authorities have temporarily suspended the passage of freight trucks exiting Bulgaria, Border Police reported on its website, citing data as of 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning. All other motor vehicles are being allowed to exit Serbia. Traffic is reported as normal at all other border checkpoints.
At the border with Turkiye, the traffic is heavy at the Lesovo border checkpoint in the outbound direction for freight vehicles.
On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
On the border with Romania, traffic is also normal at all crossings. The Border Police note that major repair work is being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, where a temporary traffic organization has been introduced. Crossing is currently limited to one lane, with a controlled traffic flow regulated by employees of the construction company.
Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Greece. On the Greek side of the Rudozem–Xanthi route, construction work is under way. The Greek authorities have put up signs indicating that the area is a construction site, and entry by unauthorized persons is not permitted.
