Traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo border control check point at the border with Turkiye is heavy, the General Directorate Border Police reported on Thursday morning. There is also heavy traffic at the exits for trucks at the Lesovo border control check points on the border with Turkiye.

Renovation work on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is ongoing. Temporary traffic arrangements have been introduced. Traffic is limited to a single lane.

Traffic is normal at all check points with Serbia, North Macedonia, and Greece.

Construction works are taking place at the Rudozem-Xanthi route on the Greek side.
