Traffic is heavy at some of the border crossing checkpoints with Romania, Greece, Serbia and Turkiye on Monday morning, according to the website of Border Police.

At the Bulgarian-Romanian border, traffic is intense at the exit for trucks at Kardam.

A major repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is underway, and traffic passes through one lane regulated with a traffic light.

Traffic is heavy at the border crossing points with Greece Kulata and Makaza at the exit for cars. 

In connection with the significantly increased number of Romanian tourists travelling to and from Greece passing through the two points, people are advised to use alternative border crossings.

Only cars and vans are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

At the Bulgarian-Serbian border, traffic is heavy at Kalotina at the entry and exit for cars.

Traffic is heavy at the Bulgarian-Turkish border at the checkpoint Kapitan Andreevo and at the checkpoint Lesovo at the entrance for cars.

Traffic on the border with North Macedonia is normal.
