site.btaLarge-scale Operation against Drug Trafficking, Production Undertaken in 45 Turkish Provinces

A large-scale operation against drug trafficking and production has been undertaken in 45 Turkish provinces, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X Wednesday. A total of 320 drug traffickers and producers have been arrested and 538 kg of various narcotic substances have been seized.

Also seized have been over 2 million cannabis plants and 188,000 pills containing drugs.

A total of 1,910 police and gendarmerie officers took part in the operation, which included air support and 26 trained dogs.
