site.btaNavy Commander Mihaylov Attends 4th Black Sea Maritime Forum in Italy

Navy Commander Kiril Mihaylov took part in the fourth edition of the Black Sea Maritime Forum, titled Security in the Black Sea Post-Conflict, and held in Naples, Italy between April 15 and 17, 2025, the Bulgarian Navy press service said on Thursday.

As part of the event, Mihaylov paid a working visit to the headquarters of the US Sixth Fleet in Naples, where he met with Jeffrey Anderson, Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet.

During the forum, Mihaylov also discussed matters of mutual interest with Stuart Munsch, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa.

Bilateral and trilateral meetings were also held between Mihaylov and naval representatives from Japan (Masahiro Sakurai), France (Vincent Gregoire), the United Kingdom (Steven Banfield), Norway (Thomas Andersen), Turkiye (Tayfun Karatas), and Romanian and Ukrainian Navy Commanders Mihai Panait and Oleksiy Neizhpapa.
