“We do not expect any surprises, we expect this vote not to be supported by every MP and every parliamentary group who want stability,” MP Atanas Atanasov told journalists ahead of Thursday’s parliamentary sitting.

Referring to the withdrawal of Democracy, Rights and Freedoms (DRF) from the ruling majority, Atanasov said:"In the end it was high time they decided whether they were part of the ruling majority or not.”

At this stage, the three parties of the ruling majority are not inclined to hold talks with MRF-New Beginning, he added. 

Asked whether talks will be held with Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria about support for policies, Atanasov answered positively. "We call on them once again not to run away from responsibility, their place is now in the government," Atanasov said.
