site.btaBird’s Eye Views of Bulgarian Landmarks to Be Shown April 1-14

The exhibition "Bulgaria from Up High" features 20 images taken by drone in different parts of Bulgaria. Sofia’s National Palace of Culture (NDK convention centre) and St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral are both captured at sunset and at night, the author Konstantin Kirilov told BTA.
The Bulgarian Black Sea coast is represented by picturesque locations such as Tyulenovo and Cape Kaliakra. The remaining photographs are dedicated to the Bulgarian mountains - Pirin, Rila and Vitosha, each of them revealing the unique character of these natural landmarks, Kirilov explained.
According to him, the four seasons of the year can be traced in the exhibition, with each photo capturing the specific atmosphere of nature during different periods.
The works will be on display from April 1 to 14 at the capital's Contrast Gallery. "My goal is to use drone photography to present our country from a different, artistic perspective. Through my images I aim to show how modern technology can become a tool for art and a visual narrative of Bulgaria's natural and cultural treasures," the author said.
Konstantin Kirilov was born and raised in Sofia. He studies at the private secondary school "Uwekind". He is interested in history and geography. In his free time, he mainly plays sports, and when he has more time, he goes out to take pictures with his drone.
