Truck traffic at the border crossing checkpoints Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo is intense on Saturday morning, Border Police said.

Temporarily, the passage through checkpoint Malko Tarnovo is carried out on one route due to the reconstruction of the facility.  

On the borders with Serbia and North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania, too. The movement of heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes across the Danube Bridge at Ruse has been restored since Friday, after it was suspended due to the overhaul of the facility. 

On the Greek side, construction works are being carried out on the road from Rudozem to Xanthi. The Greek authorities have put up signs indicating that the area is a construction site, and no outsiders are allowed to enter the site. 

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
