site.btaUPDATED Three Opposition Groups Move for No-confidence Vote against Zhelyazkov Cabinet over Its Foreign Policy

Three opposition groups in Parliament - Vazrazhdane, MECh and Velichie, Wednesday moved for a vote of no-confidence against the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov over its foreign policy. The motion is undersigned by 54 MPs in the 240-seat Parliament, the Vazrazhdane group told BTA.
The request for a vote of no confidence is at the initiative of Vazrazhdane.
Earlier on Wednesday, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov admitted that he is aware of the zero chance of the motion to go through. "The motion can't pass, mathematically. But it does not mean we should abandon an opportunity to present our arguments. A no-confidence motion is the strongest instrument in the hands of the opposition and we are going to use it," he said.
