in First Quarter of 2019


Brussels, April 17 (BTA) - Bulgaria had 3,266 new passenger car registrations in March 2019, decreasing by 1.4 per cent compared with March 2018, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) reported on Wednesday.

Between January and March 2019, however, new passenger car registrations in the country increased by 1 per cent compared with the first quarter of 2018 to reach 8,419.

EU-wide, demand for new cars declined by 3.3 per cent in the first quarter of 2019, ACEA said. Monthly registrations of new passenger cars have been decreasing steadily for seven months now. RY/VE//
