Making an announcement in the Telegram app, Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper wrote that "the enemy carried out yet another massive attack on Odesa's civilian and energy infrastructure".

There is destruction and damage. Debris from downed drones caused fires at an industrial building and a gas station, he added.

All emergency services are working to extinguish the fire and deal with the aftermath, Kiper said.

Odesa Province is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the provincial capital Odesa. Bulgarians in the province are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
