site.btaCabinet Allocates BGN 1 Mln to Increase Air Force Helicopters Capability to Fight Forest Fires

The Council of Ministers adopted Wednesday a decision to approve funding for the Ministry of Defence for 2025 in the amount of BGN 1 million for the increase of the capability to use helicopters from the Air Force for aerial forest firefighting. 

The delivery of the Bambi Bucket systems will increase the operational readiness of the helicopter aviation to perform Air Force tasks related to the protection and assistance of the population in natural disasters.
