Red paint has been spilled near the building of the Russian Embassy in Sofia, a BTA reporter saw.
Gendarmerie units are guarding the area surrounding the embassy.
Earlier on Sunday, the BOEC civic movement published a post with a video on Facebook, saying that they carried out this act on the eve of the anniversary of Russia's war against Ukraine, as a symbol of the blood of the Ukrainian victims.
