Traffic at the border crossing checkpoints is normal on Friday morning, Border Police said.
On the border with Turkiye, traffic is normal at all border crossings. Temporarily, the crossing through the Malko Tarnovo is carried out on one route due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint.
On the border with Greece, due to the increased interest in travelling on the Rudozem - Xanthi route, construction works are taking place on the Greek side of the road. The Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed to enter the site. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad.
On the border with Romania, works are continuing to carry out major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, for which a temporary traffic organization has been introduced. Traffic is in one lane with a through traffic regime and is regulated by the contractor's staff.
On the borders with Serbia and North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.
