site.btaOrange and Yellow Code Warning for Snowfall Issued for Eastern Bulgaria on Tuesday

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a second- and first-degree code orange and yellow warning for snowfall in Eastern Bulgaria for Tuesday, February 18. 

Eastern areas will see a fresh snow cover of between 15 and 20 centimeters, and in Northeastern Bulgaria – of up to 25 centimeters. There will be blizzard and drizzle conditions. For the southern regions of Burgas region, the warning is for significant rain.

According to the weekly forecast, in which it t the snowfall would continue until Wednesday, February 19. On Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, morning temperatures will be low, between minus 14 and minus 9 degrees.
