Dominic Miller has included Sofia in his 2025 tour, the host of the event Sofia Live Club said on Saturday. The concert will take place on May 8. The guitarist arrives with a line-up consisting of Ziv Ravitz (drums), Jason Rebello (piano) and Nicolas Fiszman (bass).
"After several impressive concerts in front of Bulgarian audiences, it is in the club where his musical journey began in our country that Miller will delight the audience with songs from his latest album Vagabond, the best of his own work, selected covers and unforgettable compositions from his collaboration with Sting," the organizers said.
Sofia Live Club added that, besides being an integral part of Sting's band for more than three decades, Miller has also had a successful solo career with 12 albums released. Born in Buenos Aires to a family with American and Irish roots, he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Guildhall School of Music in London. His talent has made him one of the most sought-after guitarists in the world, and artists he has worked with include Phil Collins, The Chieftains, Katie Melua, Bryan Adams, Peter Gabriel and Tina Turner.
As co-writer of the hits Shape Of My Heart and La Belle Dame sans regrets, Miller left a strong imprint on some of Sting's most iconic songs, critics wrote. Vagabond was recorded in the South of France with Ravitz, Fiszman and pianist Jacob Karlzon. Miller weaves jazz, pop, acoustic folk, contemporary classical music and Latin influences into this project.
