Bulgaria Showcases Local Products at Green Week Berlin 2025

Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food, Deyan Stratev and Lozana Vasileva, are set to open the Bulgarian stand at the international trade fair Green Week Berlin 2025 in the German capital on Friday.

Germany's Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Ozdemir, Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen, President of the German Farmers' Association Joachim Rukwied, Chair of the Federal Association of the German Food Industry Christian von Boetticher, and CEO of Messe Berlin Mario Tobias, are all expected to attend the event.

Bulgaria is taking part in the international event for the 34th time, featuring its own stand of 143 sq. m. Products from 14 local producers will be exhibited, including dairy and meat products, spices, wines, organic goods, honey, vegetable oils, and products crafted with Bulgarian rose oil.

Green Week Berlin is one of Germany's most established trade fairs and a prominent global event in nutrition, agriculture, and horticulture. Since it began in 1926, Green Week has grown into an international gathering that draws exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. The fair focuses on important topics like climate protection, circular economy, resource conservation, and sustainable land use.

This year is the 89th edition of the fair, taking place from January 17 to 26. It will host 1,500 exhibitors from almost 60 countries.
