An event in central Sofia will bring together small Bulgarian producers of food and beverages, artisans, and artists under its dome for three days - from December 20 until December 22. Called "My Eco Christmas," is part of the Sofia Farmers' Festival, organized by Hrankoop Sofia, which has been running for over ten years, according to the organizers. It is taking place in the Largo, under the glass dome in the underpass between the buildings of Parliament, the Council of Ministers and the President's Administration.

Admission is free of charge and the opening hours are 11:00 am to 9 pm for all three days.

Visitors will find a variety of foods, including sourdough bread and pastries, an assortment of sweets, honey and bee products, dairy and meat products, wine, jams and preserves, herbal teas and tinctures, nuts, spices and cold-pressed oils, as well as chewing gum and candies made with natural ingredients, among other offerings.  There will also be authentic and healthy food and drinks available for on-the-spot consumption, such as baked pumpkin and pumpkin-based desserts, organically grown citrus fruits, classic-style sushi, and a special Christmas craft beer.

On Saturday, a special event will celebrate pasta-line traditional Bulgarian foods: trahana, yufka, couscous, trienitsa. It is organized in partnership with The Culinary Festivals of Bulgaria.

Visitors can explore a range of souvenirs and accessories made exclusively from natural or recycled materials, including jewelry crafted from flowers in resin, soaps with natural ingredients, artistic knitwear, clay and ceramic items, traditional Bulgarian embroidery, and books printed on recycled paper. There will be craft workshops suitable for all ages.

The festival will feature a music program.
