Aviation is a clear example of how the state and private business can have good cooperation, said caretaker Minister of Transport and Communications Krasimira Stoyanova here on Friday. She participated in the Aviation-Event 2024 SOF aviation forum, organised by the operator of Sofia Airport, SOF Connect, in partnership with Aviation-Event.
Minister Stoyanova also said that aviation is the future. Aviation industry is among the most developing sectors, but this brings with it many challenges and requirements.
She called on the participants in the forum to find the place of new technologies and artificial intelligence during the discussion. "Let's look for ways how they can make our lives better and safer," Stoyanova noted.
Aviation-Event 2024 SOF brings together 200 industry leaders, over 20 CEOs, experts, and over 35 international journalists to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the aviation sector, the organisers said. The forum focuses on the key trends shaping the region's aviation sector, including artificial intelligence and digitalisation, sustainability, airport capacity and expansion, infrastructure and operations development, the battle for talent and Bulgaria's strategic position within the Schengen area.
