Meeting with Russian Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova in Sofia, Rumen Petkov, the leader of the ABV party, which is one of the partners in the BSP - United Left coalition in Parliament, voiced indignation at the decision of the President Biden's administration to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles supplied by the US, deep in Russian territory, said the ABV press office on Tuesday. Petkov said that the use of such missiles on strategic military sites can bring about a direct clash between the two most powerful nuclear forces.

The press release showed Petkov using disparaging language about President Biden and Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

"The two sides also discussed the upcoming observance of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany," the ABV press office said.
