site.btaCabinet Allocates Nearly BGN 2.5 Mln to Compensate Parents of Children with No Place in Creche, Kindergarten

The caretaker government Wednesday approved BGN 2,439,160 in additional transfers to 2024 municipal budgets to compensate patents of children left without a place in creches and kindergartens. Parents will be compensated for their expenses on rearing and teaching children not accepted in municipal creches and kindergartens due to lack of places, the Government Information Service reported. 

Back in August, the Cabinet approved BGN 1,455, 680 for compensations for the families whose children were not accepted in state or municipal creshes due to lack of free places. The compensation covered costs for the May 1 - June 30 period.
