Ensuring Europe's security in the face of military conflicts close to the region, strengthening the rule of law in Bulgaria and fighting corruption and organized crime were on the agenda during a meeting between President Rumen Radev and heads of diplomatic missions of the EU Member States, the US, UK and Switzerland, the Presidency press service reported here on Wednesday.
The forum also discussed topics on the European Union's agenda such as enhancing the competitiveness of European economies, strengthening the common defence policy, the EU enlargement process, which needs to be based on the merits of the candidate countries, curbing illegal migration to Europe, demographic challenges.
