Traffic is heavy for trucks at some of the border crossing points (BCPs) along Bulgaria's border with Romania and Turkiye, the Border Police Directorate General of the Ministry of Interior reported on its website on Sunday. The information is up to date as of 6:00 am on Sunday morning.

On the border with Romania, traffic at the Kardam BCP is heavy at the exit for trucks.

Due to the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, traffic is temporarily flowing through one lane, regulated by traffic lights. In addition to the checkpoint in Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm and no goods vehicles are allowed through them.

On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad border crossing points.

At the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all BCPs.  At the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all BCPs. In connection with the ongoing reconstruction of the Stanke Lisichkovo BCP and the necessity to carry out construction works, until October 21, 2024 the traffic will be allowed to pass under temporary traffic organization.

At the border with Turkiye traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo BCPs is heavy at the entry and exit for trucks.
