Innovation and Growth Minister Rosen Karadimov highlighted the success of the programme for industrial parks in Bulgaria under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and added that his Ministry has proposed to allocate BGN 100 million in the 2025 State Budget for the industrialization of the country through a special industrialization program. He visited the Thracian Economic Zone (TEZ) on Wednesday.

During his visit, Karadimov held a meeting with investors to discuss opportunities to support companies interested in opening new production facilities or expanding existing ones. He was briefed on the investment projects in TEZ, which are being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth through the Investment Promotion Act.

The Minister listed things that need to be done to attract foreign investors to Bulgaria. Among those were the construction of an established logistics system, established industrial parks and the necessary infrastructure, as well as State support for investment through all supporting measures under the Investment Promotion Act. He argued that if those goals are completed, in ten years they "could change Bulgaria fundamentally and lead to very significant foreign investment."
