site.btaSix EU Member States Get Smaller Share than Bulgaria of Amount Committed under Recovery and Resilience Facility
Data presented at the Economic and Financial Affairs Council on Tuesday show that Bulgaria has received 22.2% of the committed amount under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. Smaller shares were reported for Cyprus (21.5%), Germany (20.6%), Poland (19%), Luxembourg (13.3%), Hungary (8.8%) and Sweden (which has not received funding yet).
In early September, the European Court of Auditors said Bulgaria's share of disbursed grants and loans was 22%, compared to an EU average of 37%.
To date, EUR 267 billion have been disbursed, which represents over 41% of the overall committed amount, helping member states deal with various economic challenges, according to a review of the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the EU Council said on its website.
