Data presented at the Economic and Financial Affairs Council on Tuesday show that Bulgaria has received 22.2% of the committed amount under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. Smaller shares were reported for Cyprus (21.5%), Germany (20.6%), Poland (19%), Luxembourg (13.3%), Hungary (8.8%) and Sweden (which has not received funding yet).

In early September, the European Court of Auditors said Bulgaria's share of disbursed grants and loans was 22%, compared to an EU average of 37%.

To date, EUR 267 billion have been disbursed, which represents over 41% of the overall committed amount, helping member states deal with various economic challenges, according to a review of the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the EU Council said on its website.
